Since some folks are curious about what techniques I'm using I thought I'd mention them in my posts. This piece was done with acrylic inks, which have a thickness that helps create some nice, deep blacks. I initially start off with a pencil sketch off the top of my head, and than get into it with the inks, using a variety of nibs as well as a kolinsky sable brush to lay down the heavy blacks.

Another great one. I am drawn to your work that incorporates black and white. Shadows, light, contour in shades of black white and gray are always compelling to me.
Great work here. Love the washes, loose and tight! What type of paper are you working on here?
wow--chilling! you are very talented. you should check out the website of a guy i went to art school with:

he specializes in the macabre as well--your work reminded me of him.
I also like the way your paints kinda dribble down the bottom margins--gives a very graphic feel.
good luck!
Thanks for posting information about the technique and equipment you're using. It's really satisfying to look at them and know how you made them.
This site has some really cool art work. I'll probably be back to visit sometime soon.
Great stuff. I saw the link at Drawn!. I really liked Forked and Fur Coat.
Stunning, as always!
Being an artist, I love your work in all of the different media you use.
You switch from one media to another with great ease, and stunning results.
Love the satire and drama in your work.
Whoa. Super-spooky. I like that a lot.
Great blog you have here.
